Grantmaker-In-Residence (Global Health or Global Aid Policy)

Elevate Philanthropy’s Fieldshaper Program turns generalist, high-agency professionals into field-leading grantmakers in global health and global aid policy.

• Format: One-year, full-time fellowship (February 2027 to January 2028)
• Role: As a Grantmaker-in-Residence, you’ll steward US$1,000,000 in grant capital within a given sub-field, much like a foundation program officer or the lead of a philanthropic fund
• Training: A six-week intensive bootcamp, then live grantmaking supported by weekly structured sessions and coaching
• In-person: Four weeks in London, New York, San Francisco and at EAG London
• Approach: Active grantmaking, sourcing and building opportunities rather than waiting for proposals
• Outcomes: A grant portfolio, a published piece of thought leadership and the track record to shape your field
• Experience: Prior grantmaking experience is not required
